The Toronto Blue Jays had 5 players nominated for Gold Gloves this season but it looks like only 1 player actually ended up winning.
At the end of the 2025 season, 5 Blue Jays players were named as finalists for the Gold Glove award at different positions.
Blue Jays Ty France wins Gold Glove at first base
The Blue Jays had Alejandro Kirk, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Ernie Clement, Ty France and Andres Gimenez all nominated for Gold Gloves but only one ended up winning.
France was nominated as the winner for the American League Gold Glove award for the 2025 season, beating out Guerrero and Guardians Carlos Santana.
France, who began the season with the Twins but was traded to the Blue Jays prior to the July 31 Trade Deadline, has won his first career Gold Glove Award after a stellar defensive showing at first base. He is the second first baseman to win the honor in Toronto's history, joining Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (2022). France led all first basemen with +10 Outs Above Average in 2025. -Randhawa

Gimenez was nominated at second base despite finishing the season as the Blue Jays shortstop and was beat by Texas Rangers Marcus Semien.
At third base, Ernie Clement was nominated but ended up getting beat by Kansas City Royals Maikel Garcia.
Finally, at catcher, Kirk was surprisingly beat out by Detroit Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler which most thought that Cal Raleigh would have ended up winning.
Out of all the Blue Jays players nominated, France ended up being the only one to win a Gold Glove Award this season which not many saw coming as Guerrero was expected by most to win.
