The Toronto Blue Jays have enjoyed their second-half of their road trip after sweeping the Seattle Mariners and continuing to receive great pitching from two left-handed relievers in Brendon Little and Mason Fluharty.

The Blue Jays relievers have been one part of many in a recent surge where the Blue Jays have seen a major bump in their offensive game and quality innings in the latter half to help secure the wins.

Fluharty continues to show he deserves a spot in the bullpen

Fluharty Is a former fifth round pick of the Blue Jays back in 2022 and had remained with the Buffalo Bisons as the Blue Jays kept him in Triple AAA.
Fluharty was an option to consider dating back to last season, when he posted a 3.63 ERA across 56 outings for the Buffalo Bisons to the tune of a 10.2 K/9 and a 1.179 WHIP. Tyson Shushkewich

After having a tough start early on in the season, he has improved as the season has worn on and has given the Blue Jays quality innings.
Following that rough New York City stint, he didn't allow a single hit until April 25th against the Yankees, a stretch spanning eight appearances and over 7 2/3 innings where he struck out eight batters compared to four walks (including the Yankees game).

On the season, Fluharty owns a 1.76 ERA and a 2.33 FIP through 15 1/3 innings, boasting an 8.8 K/9 while limiting hitters to a minuscule 2.3 H/9. He's amassed a 0.587 WHIP in the process and features a ton of red on his statcast metrics, highlighted by his 97th percentile xBA mark of .178. Tyson Shushkewich

Brendon Little continues to help Blue Jays this season

Little's numbers have been outstanding when he is called upon to pitch in relief. And has been a great pitcher after allowing two runs during one of the New York Mets games on April 5th which shot his E RA up to 5.79.
The southpaw has allowed just eight hits and one earned run since that Mets outing, striking out 22 batters compared to eight walks through his 13 1/3 innings of work. He's held batters to a .167 average and a .507 OPS while tossing a 0.68 ERA and a 1.84 FIP. Tyson Shushkewich

Getting this kind of work from both relief pitchers have helped stabilize the bullpen and given the Blue Jays but chance to help find their offence which appears to be turning a corner after their last four games against the Angels and the Seattle Mariners.
It remains to be seen on whether the Blue Jays can continue this hot streak as they now head back to Toronto to open a nine game home stand where they will have a series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Jays are now back to .500 in the standings as they now sit 20-20 and are trying to get back in contention four first in the American League East.
It's going to take every member of the Blue Jays to make that happen and pitching will be paramount in achieving those wins.
