Blue Jays injury update on George Springer
In the 3rd inning of the game, Springer was once again dinged by a ball but this time around it was thankfully around his hand and not his bad knee once again.
Been a painful October for George Springer
Blue jays fans could not believe that he was hit by a pitch one again even if it was clear that the pitch from
Yoshinobu Yamamoto was not intentional.
I know it's not intentional
BUT CAN SPRINGER STOP BEING THROWN AT I MEAN MY GOSH
Thankfully Springer was able to stay in the game even though it did not help the Blue Jays much as they still ended up losing 5-1 as the series is now tied at one a piece.
Springer ended up going 1 for 3 on the night with a double and the only Blue Jays run that was scored.
The Blue Jays have had a lot of injury trouble so finally they got some good news with Springer who was able to push through but even then, if he was injured he would likely just push through the pain like he did last time.
Despite a tough loss tonight, the Blue Jays are now headed to Los Angeles for game 3 on Monday as they look to take the lead in the series once again.
