Toronto Blue Jays legend Jose Bautista has some big words for Addison Barger

Toronto Blue Jays legend Jose Bautista was on Sportsnet 590 The Fan yesterday and had quite the compliments for Addison Barger.
The Blue Jays have been having all kind of injuries problems this year as Nick Sandlin was just placed on IL yesterday but that does not seem to be stopping the Blue Jays from dominating their opponents.

Barger has been one of if not the best player for the Blue Jays lately as he currently has a .346 batting average, .393 on base percentage with 3 homeruns and 12 RBIs in his last 7 games alone.
Everyone seems to be noticing as even Jose Bautista spoke of it during an interview yesterday stating that Barger has the potential to become the guy in Toronto like he was as he sees the two players having very similar paths.
"If everybody does their role on a day-to-day basis, maybe they turn into a guy... I know that was part of my path, hopefully it's the same for someone like Addison [Barger]."

Bautista stated that when he arrived in Toronto he was brought in to be a solid player but not necessarily the guy and after continuously putting up numbers and dominating he eventually became their top player.
Barger can have a very similar path according to Bautista as he was brought in due to injuries and was supposed to fill a spot on the roster but ended up stepping up in a major way and could easily be one of their best players over the next few years.
It will be interesting to see how everything plays out with Barger as the sample size is still small but at this rate it seems like he has no plans on slowing down.
