The MLB postseason is returning to Toronto, as the Toronto Blue Jays clinched their playoff berth, and tickets are scheduled to go on sale this Thursday, even though their place in the AL East is still undetermined.
Baseball in the fall is always a special time, especially when the Blue Jays might head into it atop of the American League.
"Playoff baseball fast approaching as tickets go up for sale for Toronto Blue Jays.
The Canadian Press recently reported that Blue Jays playoff tickets will go on sale this Thursday.
The Blue Jays clinched their playoff berth this past Sunday with an 8-5 win over the Kansas City Royals.
"The Blue Jays are first in the American League East division and the American League overall, with six home games remaining in the regular season. The AL's final standings will determine which games in the first two rounds are played at Rogers Centre."-Press
If the Blue Jays retain their position atop the American League they will get a bye to American League Division series and will have home field advantage for games 1,2 and 5.
If the Blue Jays do not manage to hold on to their spot, they will have to play a best-of-three Wild Card series starting on the 30th of September.
"In the unlikely event Toronto finishes below the top wild-card spot, it would go on the road for its opening-round series. Toronto starts a three-game series with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday at Rogers Centre."-Press
