The Blue Jays have a chance of clinching a playoff spot tonight if they end up beating the Royals which will be a game that was supposed to only be on Apple TV but is now only being broadcast on Sportsnet.
Before the game, Schneider stated that Bichette has begun swinging today off the tee and also hitting in the batting cage which is a great first step.
Santander on the other hand is still in Buffalo, he will be getting the day off but is expected to be back in the outfielder tomorrow for the Bisons.

This is great news for the Blue Jays because bringing both of these players back could be some big offense for the Blue Jays in the post-season especially when looking at Bichette who still leads the MLB in hits depsite being on IL for more than a week.
The Blue Jays roster is strong from top to bottom right now but adding two solid bats can only help them when the important games show up.
