Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider snubbed for AL Manager of the Year

Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider was nominated as one of the three finalist for AL manager of the year and the results were announced tonight.
Schneider along with Stephen Vogt of the Cleveland Guardians and Seattle Mariners manager Dan Wilson were nominated earlier this month as the finalist.
John Schneider loses AL Manager of the Year
The MLB awards are spread out across the first few weeks of the off-season and tonight was the announcing of the Manager of the Year award for the American and National League.

Heading into tonight, some such as insider Bob Nightengale believed that Guardians manager Vogt should win the award for the AL while Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy should win for the NL.

Nightengale ended up being right as somehow Schneider came second in voting as Vogt won AL Manager of the Year as he received 17 first place votes to Schneider's 10.
John Schneider finished 2nd in AL Manager of the Year voting behind Stephen Vogt of the Guardians.
