The Toronto Blue Jays had another great win yesterday against the Houston Astros improving to 10-6 and manager John Schneider spoke to the media after the game regarding his team's attitude heading into the season.

The Blue Jays still have a few questions marks surrounding certain players such as Alan Roden, Orelvis Martinez and Myles Straw but for the most part have a good idea of what their lineup will look like for Opening Day.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider talks on the team's attitude heading into the new season

The Blue Jays had a very disappointing season in 22024 as most thought they would be one of the best team in the AL East but they ended up dead last which seems to be fueling their team to perform this season.
But fueling him through the grind portion of baseball's marathon exhibition season, Schneider sees plenty of positives from his team in the aftermath of the turmoil of 2024. -Longley

Manager John Schneider spoke to the media yesterday and stated that his team, especially the players that have been in Toronto for the last few years are playing with a chip on their shoulder after how last season went.
«There is always a different vibe, every year,» Schneider said in an interview with the Toronto Sun outside his team's clubhouse beyond the right-field corner at TD Ballpark. «And when you have a down year, I think you reflect on that a lot. Players, staff, everyone in the organization. It's been a pretty clear message as to what we need to do and how we need to go about it. -Schneider

On top of that, Schneider also stated that the new players they brought in such as Max Scherzer, Andres Gimenez and Anthony Santander have all bought in and have come to Toronto to win.
«The floor was raised because of our own guys' expectations after the way things went last season,» Schneider said. «And then having guys like Max (Scherzer), (Anthony Santander), (Andres) Gimenez and (Jeff) Hoffman come in you add those personalities and you kind of see guys feeding off each other.» -Schneider

It seems like everyone of the team is looking for the Blue Jays to have a bounce back season to prove that last year was just a fluke.
Hopefully the players are right and everything goes according to plan.
