The Toronto Blue Jays have officially announced their starter for game 1 of the World Series which will be Trey Yesavage.
The Dodgers officially announced late last night that they will have Blake Snell as their game 1 starter followed by Yoshinbu Yamamoto for game 2.
Blue Jays officially announce Trey Yesavage as game 1 starter
Yesavage has had an incredible start to his career with only being in the major leagues for over a month before making the playoff roster and now headed to the World Series.
22 year old Trey Yesavage after 3 regular season starts, helped eliminate both the Yankees & Mariners, while striking out both Raleigh & Judge… now he gets to pitch to Ohtani in the World Series. Guy is probably on Cloud9 right now.

The Blue Jays rookie pitcher is not only just on the roster but has been a standout player for the Blue Jays in the playoffs as he is currently 1 strikeout away from passing David Price for the most strikeouts in the playoffs by a Blue Jays pitcher.
Most SO in a postseason by a Blue Jays pitcher:
23 - David Price (2015)
22 - Trey Yesavage (2025)
Special.

Yesavage and the Blue Jays incredible story continues as the Blue Jays announced him as their game 1 starter for the World Series which begins on Friday.
Starting pitchers for Game 1 of the World Series tomorrow: Blake Snell vs. Trey Yesavage.

So far in the playoffs, Yesavage has faced quite a few stacked line ups but the Dodgers will be an entirely new beast with their roster filled with superstars.
