Toronto has decided to remove Santander from the lineup ahead of game 2 this afternoon as he has been dealing with lower back pains once again.

The Blue Jays announced that Davis Schneider will be replacing Santander in left field this afternoon against the Mariners.

This is not a surprising move as Santander did not seem to be in any pain last game but it seems to be that his back pains have come back up once again as the Blue Jays will have to win without him today.

Toronto has been dealing with a lot of injury troubles this season and the post-season has been no different after Nathan Lukes left last game and Bo Bichette was once again left off the roster for this series.

The BlueJays take on the Mariners at 5:03 PM this afternoon at the Rogers Centre.
