The Red Sox will be facing the Yankees in a best of 3 Wild Card series which begins on Tuesday to determine who the Blue Jays will face in the ALDS.
The Blue Jays never faced the Yankees or Red Sox in the playoffs before which means no matter who wins the Wild Card series, it will be a historic ALDS series.
Starting Tuesday, Yankees and Red Sox will play at Yankee Stadium for the right to travel to Toronto and play the Blue Jays in the ALDS next weekend.

The Blue Jays will begin their series vs either the Yankees or Red Sox on October 4th at the Rogers Centre followed by games on October 5th, 7th, 8th and 10th if necessary.
