Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has been having quite the incredible season on the field but it looks like some big changes have occurred off the field as well.
Bichette has been one of the biggest comeback stories in the MLB this season after a disappointing year in 2024, he has completely turned his game around this season and has been a big part of the Blue Jays success.
Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette apparently got engaged
During an interview with the Toronto Star yesterday, Bichette spoke on the Blue Jays current hot run this season but then also touched on some of his personal life which he does not do very often.
Apparently Bichette quietly got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Alexis in the month of May and they plan on getting married next January during the off-season.
The Toronto Star's Rosie DiManno revealed in an article on Monday that Bichette got engaged to his girlfriend, Alexis, in May, with a wedding planned for next January.
While Bichette, 27, is known for his flashy on-field play, it doesn't always seem to translate to his off-field personality, as he's generally quite soft-spoken in interviews. -Laskaris

This is quite the big moment for Bichette since apart from having a child, many would state that this is the biggest move you can make in your personal life.
Hopefully getting engaged in Toronto will be one more reason why the all-star shortstop does not want to leave the Blue Jays when he is looking to sign a new contract in the off-season.
2025 could end up being quite the year for Bichette on and off the field as the Blue Jays are starting to seriously look like World Series contenders as they are currently on a 9 game winning streak.
It will be interesting to see how things end up going between the Blue Jays and Bichette this off-season.
