The Toronto Blue Jays announce that they have signed one of their former pitchers in Jacob Barnes as they agree to a minor league contract.
The Blue Jays recently DFA'd Jacob Barnes and he elected free agents after clearing waivers but it looks like he was not unable to find a major league deal anywhere else which is why he is back in Toronto.

After electing free agency last week, Jacob Barnes signed back with the #BlueJays on a minor-league deal. He's with the Bisons.
Barnes likely elected free agency thinking that he would be able to land a deal with a team that would give him a spot in their bullpen but with a 9.00 ERA in the MLB this season it what quite sure he would not land a new deal.
Hopefully Barnes is able to find his game once again in the minors and will get another shot at the majors if he steps up her game.
