Toronto Blue Jays starting pitchers for games 2 and 3 announced
A lot of talk has been surrounding the Toronto Blue Jays and their pitching rotation ahead of their ALDS series with the New York Yankees, and it has been leaked that Trey Yesavage will start game 2 and Shane Bieber will be in for game 3.
Yesavage starting may come as a bit of a surprise, based on past reports it was between him and Max Scherzer to get into the starting rotation.

It looks like the two pitchers to get the starts for the Blue Jays in game 2 and 3 are Yesavage and Bieber.

Trey Yesavage has had a meteoric rise in just one season, jumping four levels and now pitching in the American League Divisional Series against the Yankees. The phenom has only 3 starts but it was enough to convince John Schneider to get the start over a struggling Max Scherzer.
Max Scherzer has the experience over Yesavage, with two World Series, almost two decades years in the MLB and 10 playoff appearances. However, this isn't the same Scherzer we are all used to, and Schneider could not take the risk.
As for Bieber this is why they brought him in, arguably the best acquisition from the trade deadline. The Blue Jays will need a win from their ace if they hope to advance to the next round.
