Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr is doing his part to bring Teoscar Hernandez back to Toronto

Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins was recently asked at the Winter Meetings if the team is interested in Teoscar Hernandez in which he said they would love to bring him back to Toronto.

Guerrero has been working out this winter to try and build off of his 2024 season in which he was by far the Blue Jays best player offensively as he has been racking up some serious hardware this off-season.

The Blue Jays superstar recently posted a picture on Instagram which showed him working out with free agent Teoscar Hernandez the day after Atkins made comments about being interested in the Blue Jays former outfielder.

Fans are getting excited over this picture since it is hard to believe that the two who are close friends and are working out together have no been discussing the possibility of playing together again.

Since the Blue Jays missed out on Juan Soto, if they are bale to land an offensive threat like Hernandez, their offense will definitely improve drastically in 2025.

The Blue Jays are one solid hitter and a great starting pitcher away from being a legitimate contender but without those two pieces they will likely miss the playoffs once again.

In the past week, many free agents have been taken off the board which is creating a lot of pressure for the Blue Jays since if they are unable to land at least one all-star, 2025 will likely be a repeat of last season.

Atkins landing Andres Gimenez two ago was a solid start but they will need for of a solid hitter like Hernandez or Anthony Santander to win baseball games.

It is all in Atkins' hands to make the right moves and put together the best team possible as he has the tools to do so.
