A Toronto Blue Jays fan decided to strangely enough dress up as Colonel Sanders at game 2 last night and the reasoning behind the disguise has been revealed.

When Sanders was first spotted, fans stated that it was a play on the Japanese colonel curse on the 1985 Hanshin Tigers in hopes on jinxing some of the Dodgers Japanese players.

While this could have played into the decision, it looks like it is actually a marketing tactic done by KFC which has been done in the past a big sporting events.
As it turns out, this was done intentionally by KFC Canada given all the excitement surrounding this Blue Jays playoff run. They posted several Instagram stories of the individual ahead of the game in what has been a truly hilarious bit. -Pankiw
This fan has been used as Colonel Sanders double before as he was spotted at a Toronto Raptors game back in February for the same reason.

Since the Blue Jays did not have the outcome they wanted in game 2, there is a good chance that fans hope he will not be there for game 6 if it is needed.
