Vladimir Guerrero Jr injury update after pinch hitting against the Marlins

The Toronto Blue Jays will have to go for a fifth game without their star slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the all-star is battling a hamstring injury and John Schneider wants to remain cautious with their best player.
Guerrero recently spoke on the injury stating that he is following the team's program and will continue to take his time with his recovery.

Sportsnet recently broke the news that Vlad Guerrero Jr. continues to remain listed as day-today battling a hamstring injury, however he is getting close to making his return.
""He felt good yesterday, he felt good again today," manager John Schneider said ahead of Saturday's game, which the Blue Jays won 7-6 in extra innings. "We wanted to check running the bases off the list, and I think with just time being a little bit of the essence today, we didn't wanna put pressure on him to run and say 'OK I'm good' or 'I feel a little fatigue.' So still being a little bit cautious with him, but I think if the situation calls for it today, you'll definitely see him in the batter's box."-Sportsnet
We can see there is no desperation to bring him back too early. And why should there be? The Blue Jays have a comfortable lead in the AL East and there is no reason to risk further injury for their best player. Regardless Vlad is getting close to being 100% again.
The main worry is that this injury was supposed to only last for the series against the Pittsburgh Pirates and it continue to go longer which has many wondering if it is worse than originally expected.

The good news is that Guerrero pinch hit today against the Marlins and despite not getting a hit, it shows that he is clearly going in the right direction and could be back against the
Vlad is having an incredible season of season with a slash line of .298/.396/.498 including 21 home runs and 69 RBI's. A large part of Toronto's success this season is because of him and it's important to exercise patience for his return.
