Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr has returned home for the off-season and videos have gone viral of him celebrating in his hometown.

Guerrero had a phenomenal season in 2025 and was even nominated for a Gold Glove award but was beaten by his teammate Ty France.

In his hometown of Don Gregoria in the Dominican Republic, Guerrero was met with quite the welcome home from fans as the streets were packed to celebrate his incredible 2025 season.

Guerrero was phenomenal in the playoffs this year for the Blue Jays as he finished with 8 home runs, 15 RBIs, a .397 batting average and .494 on base percentage to help lead the Blue Jays to the World Series.

Vladdy got a hero's welcome in his hometown of Don Gregorio, Dominican Republic after his performance in the postseason

While fans from his hometown would have loved to see Guerrero return with a World Series ring, they are still very proud of his accomplishments in 2025.

The Blue Jays have Guerrero locked down for the next 15 years so hopefully the citizens of Don Gregoria will have a lot more to celebrate in the coming years and it will be much bigger in the future if Guerrero can bring home the ultimate prize.
