New York Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay came to Toronto Blue Jays defense over recent controversy online.
Yankees fans have been claiming online over the last couple of days that the Blue Jays have been cheating but have had zero proof in the matter.
Michael Kay calls out Yankee fans over recently controversy
Kay was recently on his podcast when he decided to talk about the controversy involving the Blue Jays and stated that it is baseless and ridiculous as there is no proof of it.
The Yankees broadcaster asked fans if they had any form of proof to come forward with it but if they did not, to keep quiet as they were no reason to be putting down the Blue Jays when they are simply playing great baseball.

All teams try and win the margins. If you think someone is “cheating” call them out, and then prove it. Sometimes you got to take a L like a man. Blue jays just flat out played better in first two games

Clearly these comment by Yankee fans have been baseless and are coming from them being disappointed in their team.
As Kay said, the Yankees simply need to play better if they want to keep this series alive.
