The Trade deadline is less than a week away and the Toronto Blue Jays are apparently eyeing a blockbuster trade with the Baltimore Orioles for pitcher Charlie Morton.
Toronto has been associated to multiple players with the trade deadline closing in including third baseman Amed Rosario but most of the rumors have been surrounding pitchers.

The Blue Jays have been linked to Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller quite a bit lately but he is not there only option even if when looking at the numbers he seems to be the best one.
According to reports, the Blue Jays could be a fit for rival Orioles pitcher Charlie Morton who will likely be dealt by Baltimore at the trade deadline next week.
Their biggest need is another starting pitcher. They have been linked to Mitch Keller recently, but he isn't their only option.

The good thing about Morton is that the Blue Jays could use him as both a reliever and a starter depending on what they need more of since he has spent time in both rotations this season for the Orioles.

While Morton is not having the best season overall as he currently has a 5.53 ERA on the season, he has been much better lately as he currently has a 3.78 ERA over his last 15 games with a 5-2 record.
Despite being 41 years old, this could be a very interesting choice for the Blue Jays.
