Blue Jays announce injury update on Anthony Santander

John Schneider spoke to the media today and gave an update on Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander.
Santander was expected to play in game 2 but was removed only a few hours before the game due to lower back tightness and replaced by Davis Schneider.

During Schneider's press conference, he mentioned that Scherzer will starting game 4 for the Blue Jays but did not state how they planned on using him in the game.
Max Scherzer will start Game 4, said Blue Jays manager John Schneider.
Schneider also gave a positive update on Santander stating that he was actually available off the best in game 2 but they decided not to use him after all.

It looks like Santander is feeling a lot better and should be able to play tomorrow night in game 4 against Seattle according to Schneider.

It should be interesting to see if the Blue Jays end up using him or not but they certainly could use his offense with how badly they were outscored in game 2 without him in the lineup.
From what Schneider said, it looks like he should be in the lineup and that will only change if he ends up waking up in pain tomorrow.
