Blue Jays announce more roster move before Reds game
The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to bounce back against the Cincinnati Reds this evening and announced a few roster moves involving Easton Lucas and Ryan Borucki ahead of the game.
The Blue Jays announced last week that they signed their former relief pitcher Borucki to a minor league deal to help with depth in the bullpen.
Blue Jays select Ryan Borucki's contract and option Easton Lucas
The Blue Jays called up Easton Lucas a few days ago before he was even able to pitch a single inning, they have decided to send him back to Triple-A.
Toronto also announced that they have selected Borucki's contract as he will be active tonight for the game against the Reds while also placing Robinson Pina on 60 day IL.

Borucki had tough last two seasons in Pittsburgh but it will be interesting to see how he pitches for Toronto since in 2023 he finished with a 2.45 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched.
The Blue Jays take on the Reds to try and avoid the series loss tonight at 6:40 PM.
