Ahead of the Phillies opener, Toronto optioned Lee to Triple-A Buffalo to make room for Waldron's activation.

Lee, a 27-year-old right-hander originally drafted by the Texas Rangers in the sixth round back in 2021, has appeared in five games for Toronto this season, recording two strikeouts and one save with a 5.06 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.
That's a rough big league line, but his results at Triple-A tell a much different story.
