The Blue Jays will also be looking at a few relief pitchers to pitch multiple innings which Schneider stated that Louis Varland, Chris Bassitt and Eric Lauer all fit that bill.
"I think everyone will be able to throw three days in a row," John Schneider says of his bullpen.
The Blue Jays manager also mentioned "guys that can throw multiple innings are going to be important in these next three days."

It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out for the Blue Jays but it looks like at least for the next two games, they do not expect Bieber or Scherzer to pitch to deep into the game.
Bassitt has been great for Toronto so far in the playoffs and might be looked at to take over a portion of the game if one of the starting pitchers struggles in game 3 or 4.
