Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman sends message to Bo Bichette after latest update
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman recently spoke on injured shortstop Bo Bichette talking about his possible return.
GM Ross Atkins and manager John Schneider spoke today about Bichette's injury stating that he has yet to begin running which is why there is a good chance he misses the ALDS.

Insider Greg Chisolm recently stated that when he spotted Bichette, he did not look anywhere near returning to the lineup as he was still in a large brace.
«He didn't look remotely close to returning early last week, spotted at various times limping through the clubhouse with a large brace on his left knee,» -Chilsom
Gausman touched on subject as well stating that the 5 days off that the Blue Jays got with the bye for the Wild Card series will be huge for their injured players as the team is quite banged up right now.

The Blue Jays could still end up getting Bichette in later in the series if his recovery pace starts to pick up but it certainly does not look like the case as of right now with what Schneider and Atkins said today.
Whether the Blue Jays end up taking on the Red Sox or Yankees, they will certainly need Bichette's bat the way he has been hitting this season but they might need to figure out how to win without it.
The best case would be for Bichette to at least return as DH but then that would force them to use Anthony Santander in the field which could cause some issues as well.
The front office and coaches certainly have some big decisions to make before the Saturday deadline.
