Winckowski had a 4.20 ERA with the Red Sox in 121 appearances and 242.1 IP between 2022-25.
The Red Sox continue to hold onto to Winckowski for so many years due to the incredible numbers he put up in 2023 as he finished with a 2.88 ERA in 84.1 innings pitched and 82 strike outs but he unfortunately was never able to get back there.

After all these years, it has finally ended.
Shame he couldn't repeat 2023.
Winckowski was actually drafted by the Blue Jays back in the 15th round of the 2016 MLB draft and spent time in the minor leagues until 2021 when he was traded to the New York Mets as part of the deal that brought in Steven Matz.
Despite not being the pitcher he was back in 2023, Winckowski still put up decent numbers this season with a 3.86 ERA in 11.2 innings pitched which is why he should be able to find himself a new deal this off-season.
