Jim Bowden reveals how much Bo Bichette is looking to get from the Blue Jays
The Blue Jays have a lot of players performing at a high level right now but few are doing better than Bichette who has been on fire this season including
including last night's game against the Rockies in which he hit two homeruns and six RBIs.
Former MLB executive Jim Bowden was on Sportsnet the Fan 590 this morning and stated that he believes
Bichette will end up staying in Toronto and will be looking to sign for $170-180 million.
«He's going to get $170-180 million but I think Bo will stay."

While this would end up being the Blue Jays second largest contract in team history behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr's $500 million contract, Bichette is clearly worth that amount and they would be getting a great deal if he continues to play the way he has been.
There has been a ton of rumors this season about Bichette leaving in the off-season but he has made it clear that he wants to stay which is why the Blue Jays might be able to land him on a team friendly discount.
If Ross Atkins can land Guerrero and Bichette on long term deals in the same year, he will certainly be able to hold onto his job since his contract is also up at the end of the season.
