John Schneider gives update on Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk
Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider gave an update on catcher Alejandro Kirk's concussion after yesterday's loss to the Detroit Tigers.
The Blue Jays announced that they placed Alejandro Kirk on 7 day IL after he took a foul tip to the head against the Tigers as he seems to have gotten a minor concussion on the play.

A roster move was made yesterday by the Blue Jays ahead of their final game against the Tigers as they placed Kirk on 7-day IL due to his concussion and called up Ali Sanchez for the time being.

After the loss, Schneider gave an update on Kirk stating that he is apparently feeling much better and will be travelling with the team to Baltimore to face the Orioles while also adding that Tyler Heineman will play most of the games while Kirk is out.

This is great news for Toronto as it looks like the concussion is not too serious and Kirk should be back soon but they will also likely not rush things as head injuries need to be taken very seriously.
Heineman has had a very solid season this year and will surely be able to keep things under control while Kirk recoverys.
