Kevin Gausman will start Game 1 for the #BlueJays
This is clearly the best choice as Gausman has been lights out for the Blue Jays in the final stretch of the season and clearly is their best starting pitcher as of right now.
Gausman finished the season with an 10-11 record to go along with a 3.59 ERA on the season in 193 innings pitched but had an impressive 2.78 ERA in his last five starts.
The right-hander was 10-11 with a 3.59 ERA this season. He improved to a 2.78 ERA in five starts in September.
When looking at Gausman's playoff numbers, there are diffently a lot worse as he has a 4.91 ERA with a 0-2 record in a total of 3 starts.
Gausman is 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA in eight career playoff appearances (three starts).
While these playoffs numbers are not great, Gausman seems to be the best option for Toronto for game 1 on Satuday.
