Blue Jays projected roster for ALDS announced #bluejays #mlb

The Toronto Blue Jays are set to take on the New York Yankees on Saturday and while the official rosters have yet to be announced but certain projections have been announced.

The Yankees ended up taking down the Boston Red Sox last night with a 4-0 win to move onto the ALDS to take on the Blue Jays starting on Saturday afternoon.

Blue Jays projected roster for the ALDS

The Blue Jays have quite a few locks in their lineup with players such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr, George Springer, Alejandro Kirk and a few others.
While some players are locks, others have been struggling and on the bubble such as Max Scherzer who will likely be left off the roster for the ALDS.
The Blue Jays projected lineup for game 1 is quite expected with the only real surprise being Springer at DH with Nathan Lukes in RF and Anthony Santander in left.
Game 1:
1. George Springer, DH
2. Nathan Lukes, RF
3. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B
4. Addison Barger, 3B
5. Alejandro Kirk, C
6. Daulton Varsho, CF
7. Anthony Santander, LF
8. Ernie Clement, 2B
9. Andrés Giménez, SS

On the bench, the Blue Jays will have some familiar names with no real surprises either.
Bench:
Tyler Heineman, C
Davis Schneider, 2B/LF
Myles Straw, OF
Isiah Kiner-Falefa, INF

The starting rotation will like have one big move that most people saw coming but still came as a bit of a shock as Scherzer will be left off of it.

Trey Yesavage, RHP
Shane Bieber, RHP
Chris Bassitt, RHP

Then the bullpen will go as usual with Jeff Hoffman going into game 1 as the closer for now.
