The Atlanta Braves are hosting the All-Star game this year but it looks like the Toronto Blue Jays might finally get their shot in a few years according to reports.

During a recent report, MLB insider Bob Nightengale announced that the Blue Jays are currently the frontrunners to host the 2028 all-star and that it will likely be between them and the Baltimore Orioles.

Next year the Philadelphia Phillies will be hosting the All-Star game followed by the Chicago Cubs in 2027 but it looks like Toronto might have a real shot at hosting in three years.
The insider also shares that Major League Baseball has committed to Wrigley Field in Chicago for 2027, which will be the host site after Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia next season. _Wakai
If the Blue Jays end up getting to host the All-Star game in 2028, this would be the second time they receive this honor as the first time came in 1991 when the Rogers Centre was still the Skydome.
If the Blue Jays are awarded the game, it would be the second time their current home ballpark has hosted the Midsummer Classic.
