The Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers seems to be looking at a blockbuster trade involving 5 players including Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom.
There has been quite a few rumors as the trade deadline is only a few days away but Jacob deGrom's name has been linked quite a bit to the Blue Jays over the last couple of weeks.

The Blue Jays need to find themselves a starting pitcher at the upcoming trade deadline plus at least one relief pitcher with all of the injuries they currently have.
A possible trade offer was recently announced that would see deGrom and Shawn Armstrong headed to Toronto in exchange for Ricky Tiedemann, Trey Yesavage and Alan Roden.

Landing deGrom would be huge for the Blue Jays rotation with his 2.28 ERA in 118.1 inning pitched and a 10-2 record but they would have to give up quite a bit to land him.
Losing Yesavage and Roden in the same trade would be very difficult for the team's future but at least they would be getting deGrom in return which would be a complete game changer.
