The New York Yankees announced this afternoon that they have agreed to a new deal with former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Yerry Rodriguez.
As the Blue Jays continue to look but have yet to make any big moves, some of their former players like Sam Moll have signed new deals.

The Yankees announced a new deal this afternoon as they signed Rodriguez to a two year minor league deal.
The Yankees have signed RHP Yerry Rodriguez to a two-year MiLB deal.
Rodriguez had Tommy John surgery last year, and is eyeing a midseason return. He last pitched in 2024 with Texas and Toronto, posting an 8.97 ERA in 16 appearances.

The Blue Jays acquired Rodriguez from the Texas Rangers back in 2024 in exchange for Josh Mollerus at the trade deadline.

Rodriguez spent the majority of his time with the Blue Jays organization in the minors as he only saw 4.2 inning in the MLB in which he finished with a 15.43 ERA.
Due to Tommy John surgery and rough numbers, Rodriguez has been without a contract since February from this past season when the Pittsburgh Pirates released him.
The Yankees expect Rodriguez to be ready for mid season as he continue to recover from Tommy John surgery.
It will be interesting to see how Rodriguez bounces back after his recovery.
