Orioles broadcast insults Blue Jays fans
During the Blue Jays win, Orioles pitcher Shawn Dubin tried to pick off a Blue Jays player on first base which was unsuccessful which fans were not happy with and began to boo.
After the play, the
Orioles broadcast team decided to questioning the fans at the Rogers Centre IQ for booing a standard play adding that maybe they know more about hockey than baseball.
Baltimore's broadcast crew on Blue Jays fans booing the pick off move:
«Sometime we had some major questions about the baseball IQ of Canadians.»
«Maybe they know a little bit more about hockey than baseball»
Baltimore Orioles TV broadcast last night questioned the intelligence of Canadian baseball fans after booing a pickoff attempt.
Booing a visiting team on a pickoff attempt is not something that is only done at the Rogers Centre but across all stadiums in the MLB which is why these comments were quite uncalled for.
All in all, it did not matter as the Blue Jays ended up walking away with the 6-1 win and now have a chance at winning the series this afternoon against the Orioles.
The final game of the series is tomorrow afternoon at 1:37 PM at the Rogers Centre.
