The Toronto Blue Jays announced unfortunate news for Anthony Santander as he has been placed on 60 day IL while pitcher Justin Bruihl has been optioned.
News broke this morning that Lazaro Estrada had his contract selected by the Blue Jays and was getting called up in which the Blue Jays just officially announced the roster move.

The Blue Jays announced this afternoon that outfielder Anthony Santander is still nowhere near making a return as he has officially been placed on 60 day IL due to his shoulder injury.
The Blue Jays also announced that they have selected Lazaro Estrada's contract and that he will be active tonight against the Angels while they have optioned Justin Bruihl.

When it comes to Santander this is rough news since most believed that he would only be out for a few weeks but it looks like the injury is much worse than people thought.
While not having Santander is unfortunate, the Blue Jays have been thriving without him which is why not having him is far from the end of the world.
