The Blue Jays reach a contract agreement with 1st round pick Jojo Parker
The Blue Jays announced this evening that they have some to an agreement with Parker on a $6.2 million deal which is almost $600,000 under his slot value which is a shocking move by GM Ross Atkins.

This is an icnredible move by Atkins and the Blue Jays front office as they will not have room to use that additional money on locking down some of their other draft picks.

Coming in below slot gives club some flexibility elsewhere with their picks.
Atkins has dealt with a lot of judgement over the years as the GM of the Blue Jays but over the last little while he has been making multiple incredible moves such as this one.
