The Toronto Blue Jays and their 8th overall pick, shortstop Jojo Parker have come to an agreement on a shocking deal.
The Blue Jays had the 8th overall pick at the 2025 MLB draft and decided to go with high school shortstop Jojo Parker out of Mississippi in which they have finally reached an agreement with.

The Blue Jays announced this evening that they have some to an agreement with Parker on a $6.2 million deal which is almost $600,000 under his slot value which is a shocking move by GM Ross Atkins.

This is an icnredible move by Atkins and the Blue Jays front office as they will not have room to use that additional money on locking down some of their other draft picks.
