Toronto Blue Jays announce roster move after loss to the Tampa Bay Rays
The Toronto Blue Jays unfortunately last their last game of the series against the Tampa Bay Rays 4-0 this afternoon and announced a roster move afterwards.
The Blue Jays announced a few days ago that they have decided to surprisingly DFA Ryan Borucki to make room on their roster for Trey Yesavage who was called up for his MLB Debut.

After the tough loss to the Rays, the Blue Jays announced that Borucki ended up clearing waivers and has been outright sent to the Buffalo Bisons to finish their season.

#BlueJays announce Ryan Borucki cleared waivers and has been assigned to AAA. The team and Borucki both hoped this would be the result.
After being DFA'd Borucki made it known to the team that he would prefer to stay in the organization rather than being released after clearing waivers which he had a feeling he would.
Ryan Borucki - who was DFA'ed by the Blue jays today - told the club his preference is to remain with the organization, per manager John Schneider

It will be interesting to see if the Blue Jays end up brigning Borucki back up for the playoffs as he put up some very solid numbers in the few games he played for the Blue Jays this season.
The Blue Jays well at least still have some extra depth in Buffalo for their bullpen if they need after this move.
