The Toronto Blue Jays announce a few roster moves involving Chris Bassitt, Bo Bichette, Ty France and Jose Berrios.

The Blue Jays have made quite a few roster moves lately as they called up a numbers of players from the Buffalo Bisons as they get ready for the ALDS.

Blue Jays activate a number of players including Bo Bichette and Chris Bassitt

The Blue Jays need to finalize their roster for the playoffs in the coming days in which they will have a lot of big questions to answer especially when it comes to their injured players.
According to the Blue Jays transaction list, they have activated all of their injured players including Bichette, France, Bassitt and Berrios as this is a necessity if they plan on using them in the playoffs.
A team must activate their injured players if they plan on using them in the playoffs since if they are left of the injured list, they will be unable to play throughout the playoffs.
If a player such as Bichette is still injured once the series begins, he can swapped out for another position player while he continues to recover.
"Teams submit a 26-man roster (it was 25, prior to 2020) prior to each round of the postseason comprised of postseason-eligible players. A club may request permission from the Commissioner's Office to replace a player who is injured during the course of a series, but that player is then ineligible for the rest of that round and the subsequent round, if there is one. A pitcher may be replaced only by another pitcher, and a position player only by another position player." -MLB

While it is good news that the Blue Jays decide to activate these four injured players since it means that there is a chance that they play in the post-season, there is still no guarantee.
Out of the 4 players activated by the Blue Jays, the two most crucial are Bichette and Bassitt as both players could end up making a big difference to the lineup if they are able to play.
