Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Jamie Campbell announced that newly retired for Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar will be returning to Toronto in August.
Pillar announced a few days ago that after being released back into free agency by the Texas Rangers and being unable to find a new deal, he has officially decided to call it a career after 13 seasons in the MLB.

After the Blue Jays big win and sweep of the Yankees yesterday, Campbell announced that Pillar will be joining the Sportsnet desk with him in August for Blue Jays games.

Fans were quick to jump online and post about how happy they are to have Pillar back in Toronto but Campbell did not specify how long this situation would last and if it was permanent.

Pillar has had a long of experience on the media side of things since over the last few years he has been on Sportsnet, MLB network and many other shows as well as podcast
It will be interesting to see how Pillar and Campbell do together but they will surely be a great combo as fans love the two of them and having Pillar's insight on the game will be great.
