The Toronto Blue Jays are currently on fire despite last night loss to the New York Yankees and due to this winning streak, ticket prices continue to go up which has fans pretty upset.

The Blue Jays are currently one of the best teams in baseball at the moment even if they lost last night 5-4 to the Yankees, they still sit ahead in the standing by 3 games over New York.

Blue Jays fans are not happy with the current ticket prices at the Rogers Centre

As the Blue Jays continue to win, their ticket prices for home games at the Rogers Centre continue to go up as resellers are taking advantage of the team's success to mark up the cost of tickets.

Against the Yankees this week, tickets were selling for up to $1952 with the cheapest tickets being $170 in the nosebleeds which is much more than their usual price.

On the heels of Monday's record-breaking victory, tickets for Tuesday's game against the Yankees were re-selling on Ticketmaster for as much as $1,952 each for a pair of seats behind home plate, while the cheapest pair of tickets in the nosebleeds was going for around $170 a piece. -Freeman

Fans have been vocalizing their disappointment online stating that these prices are not fair as the average fan cannot afford to go and support their team.

Takes a real millionaire to watch millionaires play a game.

I'm done with pro sports. Fans end up paying for the shit on the field all the time.
There should be law resale canbe no more than 20% of the original cost

The issue here is not the team selling these tickets at high prices but the resellers on ticketmaster.

Even with these high ticket prices, the Blue Jays will likely have another packed Rogers Centre for their final game of the series against the Yankees today.

The series is currently tied at one game a piece with the winner tonight walking away with the series.

The game starts at 7:07 PM at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
