The Toronto Blue Jays entered the season with another brutal farm system ranking but their minor league team have been proving that they deserve this rank.
The
Blue Jays have quite a few solid prospects in their organization between, Orelvis Martinez, Jake Bloss, Trey Yesavage and a few others but despite that, their minor league teams have been struggling.
Blue Jays minor league teams have been struggling this season
The Buffalo Bisons have been off to a rocky start this year despite having a lot of talent of their team as they currently sit at 14-23 on the season which is third to last in the standings.
It has been a tough start for the Jays' triple-A affiliate as they've dragged their heels to a 14-23 record, third-to-last in the ten-team International League. A large reason why has been the less-than-stellar starting pitching. -Fitzpatrick
The Double-A Fisher Cats have not been doing much better as they sit at 14-18 on the year as they currently sit in fourth place out of six teams in their division in 2025.
The Fisher Cats haven't fared any better than the Bisons in their young season. Their 14-18 record places them in fourth place out of the six teams in the Eastern League's Northeast Division. -Fitzpatrick
The Vancouver Canadians in High-A also sit below .500 with a 15-18 record on the season which puts them in fifth out of six teams in the Northwest league.
While the Canadians are the closest out of all the teams listed so far to the .500 mark, they still fall shy at 15-18, which places them fifth out of the six teams in the competitive Northwest League. -Fitzpatrick
The only minor league team for the Blue Jays above .500 is the Dunedin Blue Jays in Single-A who have a 20-13 record carried by star prospect Trey Yesavage.
As the only team thus far on this list to be above .500, the Dunedin Jays have shown plenty of promise across the board as they've played to a Florida State League East leading 20-13 record. -Fiitzpatrick
While many thought that the
Blue Jays farm system was ranked way too low to start the season in 27th, having all of their minor league teams below .500 except for one proves that this ranking is accurate.
