Toronto Blue Jays legend Jose Bautista is set to be inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame over the weekend and recently had an interview speaking openly about his time with the Blue Jays.
Bautista is a legend in the city of Toronto for his 10 years here as he was one of the best players in the MLB at the time and brought Toronto back from the grave to one of the best teams in the league.

Prior to the induction ceremony taking place tomorrow, Bautista was at the Rogers Centre speaking on how much it means to him to have his name of the stadium's Level of Excellence.

«It's a good reminder of the time that I spent here, 10 years, it's a long time,» Bautista said. «A full decade and a lot of good memories and a lot of good times here.» -Bautista
When asked about how he found out about his selection for the Canadian Baseball hall of Fame, Bautista stated that he got a call from Scott Crawford and that he was extremely surprised about the news.
«I got a call from (Hall director) Scott Crawford and he broke the news to me,» said Bautista, who lives in Tampa, Fla. «(He) kind of caught me off guard, but I was extremely surprised but at the same time humbled and honoured. -Bautista
This induction will only cement Bautista's name even more in the heart of all Canadian that watched him crush homeruns for a decade in a Blue Jays uniform.
Despite being retired for almost 10 years now, Bautista is far from forgotten in Canada.
