John Schneider speaks on Bo Bichette's current state
Bichette has been a huge part of the Blue Jays success this season which is why the team is so eager to find out if they will have him for this playoff run or not.
John Schneider on Bo Bichette:
«He's not going to be back for the regular season.»
The #BlueJays are focused on trying to get him back for the playoffs, which is obvious, but there's no hard timeline right now and won't be until he starts baseball activities.
Clearly it seems like Schneider and the Blue Jays are hopeful but at the same time know that there is no certainty on when he will be back until he begins his rehab process and they see how he feels.
If the Blue Jays can find a way to at least get Bichette back as a designated hitter, it would be great for there offense since he has been one of their best hitters this season.
It terms of defense, having Andres Gimenez at shortstop instead of Bichette might actually benefit the team since he is a much better defender which has been on full display since he moved over.
