The Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Max Scherzer had a phenomenal game yesterday and when John Schneider tried to pull him, things escalated.

The Blue Jays had Scherzer make his first start of the post-season yesterday in which he ended up having an excellent game in a 8-2 win over the Mariners.

Scherzer turned back the clocks yesterday with a great 5.2 innings pitched in which he only gave up a total of 3 hits, 2 earned runs, 4 walks and struck out 5 batters.
Schneider at one point tried to come out and pull Scherzer in the fifth inning but the veteran pitcher was not having it and started to yell at his manager from the mound.

Scherzer ended up staying in the game and striking out the Mariners batters which put an end to the 5th inning with a 5-1 lead for the Blue Jays.
On his way back into the dugout after the 5th inning, Scherzer ended up having a few more words for Schneider then pushing over Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker.

Clearly Scherzer was not too happy with exiting the game but it was the right move to make after the solid performance he put on last night.
Tonight, Kevin Gausman will take the mound for the Blue Jays in hopes of finally taking a series lead.
