Toronto Blue Jays Trey Yesavage wins incredible Player of the Year award
Toronto Blue Jays newest addition to the starting rotation Trey Yesavage received quite the honor today as he won Player of the Year.
Yesavage was recently called up to the majors in which he made MLB history with his start for the most strikeouts thrown in an MLB debut.
The young Yesavage made his second career MLB start yesterday against the Royals which resulted in a win and helped the Blue Jays clinch a playoff spot.
This morning, Baseball America announced that Yesavage was named the Blue Jays minor league Player of the Year for the season he has had in 2025.

This does not come as a huge surprise as Yesavage went fro Single-A to the major in his first professional season and is now concidered a big part of the Blue Jays starting rotation.
After the win yesterday, Yesavage spoke to reporters about how he was feeling about the clinch and he clearly was in shock as he couldn't believe how much had changed in just a few weeks.
