Two anonymous MLB executives believe that the Toronto Blue Jays will be the team to land free agent pitcher Blake Snell this off-season.

The Blue Jays have been rumored to be looking for a top tier starting pitcher this off-season as their starting rotation needs some serious help and with that have come rumors of them targeting Blake Snell.

ESPN insider Jesse Rogers announced this morning that two MLB executive believe that the Blue Jays will be able to land Snell this off-season even though they are still not the favorites to get the deal done.

Blake Snell: Giants 7, Phillies 4, Blue Jays 2, Reds 1, Mets 1, Red Sox 1 -Rogers

While the Blue Jays are believed to be part of the running's for Snell, the top team is still his former San Francisco Giants who had 7 MLB executives states that he will be returning to the Bay area.

Despite Snell opting out of his contract with the Giants, they are still believed to be the top team to land him because he has been playing great on the west coast and only declined his option because he was looking for a long term deal.

Why were the Giants such heavy favorites to retain Snell after he opted out of his deal in San Francisco?
"It clicked for him on the West Coast," one executive said. "I don't see him leaving." -Rogers

Even if the Blue Jays are not the favorites to land Snell, they are still part of the top 3 teams that have a chance at signing him which is a great sign for the Blue Jays since Snell could seriously improve their rotation.
