The Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Shane Bieber is still deciding on if he will decide to accept his player option or decline it and enter free agency.

The Blue Jays main focus this off-season will certainly be Bo Bichette but Bieber is not far behind as they would ideally like to have him return.

Update on Shane Bieber's player option

There has been quite a few players over the last couple days that have declined their player option but Bieber on the other hand has yet to make his announcement.
Bieber has only two more days to decide as the deadline to either accept or decline his player option is on November 6th.
Many believe that Bieber will end up declining his option as he will be able to get a much more lucrative deal on the open market which recent predictions expect him to sign for 5 year $150 million.
1) Kyle Tucker - 11 years / $360 million
2) Bo Bichette - 8 / 240
3) Framber Valdez - 7 / 220
4) Alex Bregman - 6 / 180
5) Pete Alonso - 7 / 175
6) Dylan Cease - 5 / 160
7) Shane Bieber - 5 / 150
8) Cody Bellinger - 6 / 175
9) Gleyber Torres - 7 / 160
10) Kyle Schwarber - 3 / 110
11) Edwin Diaz - 6 / 125
12) Munetaka Murakami - 7 / 140
13) Trent Grisham - 5 / 130
14) Trevor Story - 4 / 110
15) Michael King - 4 / 110
16) Eugenio Suarez - 3 / 75
17) Kazuma Okamoto - 5 / 85
18) Josh Naylor - 6 / 120
19) Ranger Suarez - 3 / 75
20) Devin Williams - 4 / 75
21) Brandon Woodruff - 1 / 27.5
22) Zac Gallen - 2 / 45
23) Jack Flaherty - 3 / 72
24) Ryan Helsley - 4 / 170
25) Lucas Giolito - 3 / 65
If Bieber ends up declining his option, he can still return to Toronto but they will need to make him a proper offer that lures him away from other teams and back to the Blue Jays.
Some believe that the Red Sox might be a top option for Bieber as he looked at the Red Sox last off-season before returning to Cleveland.
The Red Sox were the only team that Shane Bieber visited last offseason before re-signing with Cleveland, according to

, and they could eye him again this offseason.
The free agent market will certainly have a lot of skilled pitcher this off-season but it will not be easy for Toronto to replace Bieber if they end up lsoing him.
