Blockbuster trade offer announce between the Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays

Trade rumors and proposals have begun to swirl around Major League Baseball with one baseball writer suggesting that the Toronto Blue Jays Bo Bichette would be a great fit for the Chicago Cubs.
Athlon Sports Jon Conahan feels that the Cubs are in a make or break season and that adding Bichette would make a lot of sense and give the Cubs more offence while sending Kyle Tucker to Toronto.

"It'd be strange to see the Blue Jays move on from Bichette, but many have suggested that it'll happen. With his contract up at the end of the year, Toronto will likely have to pay him $200 million plus, something its front office might not want to do," Conahan wrote.
"If not, the Cubs would be a perfect suitor for him, as he clearly needs a bat of his caliber. If Bichette were willing to slide over to third base, his bat would be welcomed in this lineup."
The story of Bo Bichette and the Blue Jays surrounding his contract had become one of the main stories last offseason as many fans felt that the Blue Jays would be signing their young star alongside their face of their franchise Vladimir Guerrero junior.
That deal never transpired for Bichette currently but Guerrero junior received his monster deal of $500 million just a few weeks ago.
The 27 year old shortstop who was drafted by the Blue Jays in 2016, second round 66th overall have had a decent start to his season as he has had 146 at bat well hitting one home run along with 14 RBI with a batting average of 2.88 and an OPS of .707.
Blue Jays season will determine the fate of Bichette with the team
Bichette has made it clear that he has not received one word of contract talks from the Blue Jays since the start of the season and it appears the Blue Jays are waiting to see how his season transpires after undergoing several injuries last year which hampered his numbers.
Despite this, many feel that Bichette should remain with the team as he is a clear fan favorite and beloved by many and has expressed his desire to remain in Toronto and fulfill his dream of winning a World Series with his best friend Guerrero Junior.
With so many question marks surrounding the Blue Jays at the end of this season, it's very difficult to pinpoint whether this kind of trade would happen or whether Bichette will sign and stay with the Blue Jays long term.
