Everyone has predicted as of late that star shortstop Bo Bichette would stay with the Toronto Blue Jays , as he becomes a free agent this offseason, but in recent developments the AL leader in hits is expected to take his talents to LA and join the Dodgers .

Bichette is expected to sign a contract worth north of $150million which some just as MLB Jeff Passan believe it might touch around $300 million.

Latest report has Bo Bichette joining the Dodgers

Jackson Roberts of Newsweek broke the bombshell news that Bichette could ending leaving the Blue Jays at the end of this season.
"On Thursday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post named the Los Angeles Dodgers, a long-rumored Bichette suitor, as a threat to nab the 27-year-old in free agency. "The hit machine could also transition to 3B or 2B. Jays, (Texas) Rangers, (Boston) Red Sox, (Detroit) Tigers, (Los Angeles) Angels, Dodgers," Heyman wrote."-Roberts

While Heyman mentioned other team, the Dodgers are the most plausible and it's understandable since they have the deepest pockets with a powerhouse of a team in a big baseball market.
" Assuming Max Muncy's club option is picked up, third base isn't really an opening in LA, so either Bichette takes over shortstop and Mookie Betts slides to second, or the two are flip-flopped. While every team on Heyman's list could theoretically be positioned to steal Bichette away, it's hard not to view the Dodgers and their $400 million tax payroll as the biggest threat."-Roberts

The Toronto Blue Jays are in a pivotal year for their franchise. They are finally not seen as the team unwilling to pay their players, and stay as a feeder team to the big clubs.
They're first in the AL East with a young core and years of success ahead of them but not being able to keep Bichette would be a huge blow, not only to their roster but to their reputation overall.
They need to hold the reputation that they are a desirable place to play, and that they can hold on to superstars if they want to be a successful club for years to come.
It's in the head office's best interest now to lock up Bichette before he hits free agency this winter.
