Justin Turner wants to continue playing and does not plan on retiring
Despite being in the MLB since 2009 and having a World Series ring to go along with two all-star appearances, Turner does not want to give up on his MLB dreams just yet as he believes he can still help a team win some games.

During his short time with the Blue Jays, Turner proved to still be a useful player as he finished with a .254 batting average to go along with 76 hits, 6 home runs and 31 RBIs before being traded at the deadline to the Seattle Mariners.

In 2025, Turner played for the Chicago Cubs after signing a one year deal and ended up with a .219 batting average, 3 home runs and 18 RBIs in 80 games played which saw a clear decline in his numbers.
It certainly will not be easy for Turner to land a new major league deal with the numbers he put up this past season.
Even though Turner does not want to retire, he might end up being forced into retirement if no one ends up offering him a contract throughout the winter.
